A little bit about us….
OXTWO is a small plates restaurant and wine bar: an elegant, lively space in North Oxford for sharing a glass, meeting friends, and enjoying delicious dishes in an atmosphere of relaxed enjoyment. Skilfully crafted small plates, sharing plates cooked over fire, and a carefully tailored wine list are brought together in our timeless Summertown venue: a place to unwind, get together, or make connections over Oxford’s best selection of drinks and Johnny Parke’s award-winning food.
OXTWO is the product of a group of friends who have followed their passions into hospitality and the wine industry, uniting the teams behind the Back Lane Tavern and Duke of Marlborough, and Grape Minds and Summertown Wine Bar, to form something greater than the sum of its parts. Conceived in 2024 over a few glasses of wine and a selection of tasty morsels, we plan to give Summertown the venue we want to visit and keep coming back to.

Right in the heart of Summertown, OXTWO sits on Banbury Road, one of Oxford’s main routes north. Whether you’re joining us for dinner, drinks at the bar, Sunday roast, or a private event, getting here is simple.

We’re located on the main Banbury Road (A4165), surrounded by Summertown’s shops and cafés; you’ll spot us right along the high street.
TRAVELLING BY TRAIN
The nearest train station to OXTWO is Oxford Railway Station.
Oxford Station is around 10–15 minutes from us by taxi.

Summertown is one of the best-connected areas in Oxford.
From Oxford City Centre (Magdalen Street / St Giles’), take any northbound bus towards:

Services are operated by Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach West and run frequently throughout the day and evening.
Journey time: 10–15 minutes
Stop: South Parade or Summertown, both just a short walk from us.

We’re located directly on the A4165 (Banbury Road), making us easy to reach from surrounding towns and villages.
