The Spin Jazz Club Presents Paul Jordanous

  • OXTWO 267 Banbury Road Oxford, OX2 7HY United Kingdom (map)

Live at OXTWO: Paul Jordanous Quartet – Sunday 24th November, 7pm

We’re thrilled to welcome back one of the UK’s most engaging and versatile trumpet players, Paul Jordanous, for a night of world-class jazz at OXTWO.

A regular across the jazz, funk, pop, and soul scenes for over 20 years, Paul has recorded on more than 100 releases — including his acclaimed debut album And Now I Know, praised by Blues & Soul Magazine as:

“A masterful craftsman… Jordanous’s calibre is a treasure to behold.”

Paul’s collaborations span an extraordinary range of artists, including Joss Stone, Carleen Anderson, Mica Paris, the Hackney Colliery Band, Kit Downes, Paul Booth, Laurence Cottle, and the BBC Big Band. His performing credits extend to TV and film too, with appearances on Eastenders, David Beckham’s Save Our Squad, Danny Boyle’s Pistol, and BBC’s Dancing on the Edge.

For this special night, Paul will be joined by:

  • Alex Goodyear – drums (a firm OXTWO favourite after his stunning performances with Jon Lloyd and Art Themen earlier this year)

  • Pete Whittaker – organ (John Etheridge’s go-to keyboardist, and one of the most soulful players around)

  • Pete Oxley – guitar (co-founder of The Spin and one of Oxford’s leading jazz musicians)

Expect a night of dynamic, uplifting, and groove-driven jazz performed by four exceptional artists at the top of their game.

Pair the performance with our Sunday Small Plates menu or a signature OXTWO Fondue, and settle in for a truly memorable evening of live music, food, and wine.

🎟 Tickets available via The Spin Jazz website – book early to avoid disappointment!
